We are pleased to announce that Turan Drilling and Engineering LTD HSE Advisor for Chirag platform  received an award for best Good Catch for Quarter One of 2023 year form the Offshore BU President Ole Maier 

GC Description: Third Party Vendor used different length of bolts whilst making up the Riser Flange connections (4 of the bolts used were too short).   

Hazard: Risk of shorter bolts failing to fully engage ensuring secure Flange connections.

Actions Taken: Stopped the job and discussed Turan Drilling requirements for Flange make up with the Individual concerned.  The 4 shorter bolts were replaced immediately with the correct size.  The Good Catch was discussed at both rig site and with onshore operations teams.

Turan Drilling and Engineering LTD General Director Ed Wheler presented the certificate to Rustam Gasimov and thanked him for his dedication to high safety standards .
